If you have a nagging doubt as to whether your boiler will last the winter without a breakdown, or you just like that feeling of peace of mind, then why not consider taking out boiler insurance cover. Priced from about 2 5p per day you could have just one less thing to worry about. There are terms and conditions, like your boiler being less than 15 years old (and if it isnt – perhaps you should consider replacing it!) and that you make arrangements to have it annually serviced, and of course there is a small excess if you do make a claim.
